Sundridge Park Village
Encouraging a sense of community & pride in our local area through the regeneration & promotion of Sundridge Park.

Update – February 2017

The Sundridge Park Traders Association are a group of local shopkeepers (some of whom are residents too) who started a campaign in February 2012 to initiate positive changes to help regenerate the historic Sundridge Park shopping area of Bromley (the area of Plaistow Lane between Plaistow Green & Sundridge Park Station). Our objective is to promote the area and it’s businesses, fund the Christmas lights, other installations requiring maintenance and local events, encourage new businesses to the area and work with other groups such as Bromley Council and Sundridge Park Residents Association to develop a strong sense of community. It’s all about taking pride in our local area and ultimately attracting more customers. After months of meetings & correspondence with members of our community & local councilors to discuss views, ideas and suggestions for this project we were delighted to receive village status & funding from Bromley Council’s Local Parades Initiative for the following improvements:

• Village status. Completed July 2012.
• 16 Planted flowering hanging baskets & brackets (including installation & first year’s planting and maintenance). Completed November 2012.
