Please note that due to their delicate nature cakes, cupcakes and cakepops are currently available for local delivery to Bromley BR postcodes only, usually via our own transport, or for collection from our shop. Delivery / collection of cakes is approximately 2-3 working days.  Please let us know if you have a specific delivery / collection date in mind and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Returns

We want you to be happy with your purchase. All items are thoroughly checked before despatch but we understand that from time to time you may wish to return a product to us.

We have created this 14 day returns policy to enable you to return products to us in appropriate circumstances.

Where you have no other legal right to return a product and receive a refund or exchange, then you will nonetheless be entitled to return a product to us where:

(a) we receive the returned product within 14 days following the date of purchase of the product.

(b) the returned product is unused, in its original unopened packaging and otherwise in a condition enabling us to sell the product as new;

(c) the item is damaged upon receipt.

In order to take advantage of your rights under this returns policy, you must:

(a) email us at info@thelavenderhousecafe.co.uk to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number and return the item to us within 14 days from date of purchase.  The RMA must be enclosed with the returned product. 

(a) contact us immediately upon receipt of delivery if the item is damaged by e mailing info@thelavenderhousecafe.co.uk

Exclusions

The following kinds of products may not be returned under this policy:

(a) cakes, cupcakes and cakepops - you will be asked to check the condition of your cake/s upon delivery and any problems should be raised with our delivery person at the time of delivery.  We cannot accept returns of cake after delivery has been accepted;

(a) food, drink and any other perishable products unless damaged on receipt of delivery.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Refunds

We will give you a refund for the full price of any product properly returned by you in accordance with the terms of this returns policy excluding the original delivery charges the costs of returning the product to us. Refunds for the original delivery charges the costs of returning the product to us will only be made if the item was damaged on receipt.  

Improper returns

Where you return a product in contravention of this policy (and where you do not have any other legal right to return the product):

(a) we will not refund or exchange the product;

(b) we may retain the returned product until you pay to us such additional amount as we may charge for re-delivery of the returned product.
